I am in LUUUVVV with this bag:

But I am WAAAAYY over purse-budget for the year. (Actually, I don't know what my purse budget is, but I'm certain that whatever it is, I've exceeded it!) Until I had seen this bag a few days ago, I had been resolved not to buy another bag for at least a year.

I called Michael Kors, and they said that they are discontinuing this bag. So, my choices seem to be:

1. buy it now, even though I shouldn't
2. don't buy it now, and maybe catch one on evil bay next year
3. don't buy it now, and look for something similar next year

I'm hoping from some purse wisdom from y'all. I've felt the burn of not buying something I loved and then not ever being able to find it again. I have also seen that there are many, many purses that are similar to each other. So do you thing that this bag is something that I'll likely see again? I love the simple clean lines, the single braided handle, and the grommett for the handle ring.

Help!! What should I do?

Okay, I'll help.;)

Zappos is never a bargain on bags. I've never seen them be lower priced than elsewhere. However, they do seem to sell things that are hard to find elsewhere.

So if you buy, you're not getting a great deal particularly, if that "helps."

I believe that almost all nice bags show up another time in the future, unless they exist in small quantities to begin with. I do think budgeting is real and wise.

I'll call them a time or two more, but when I spoke to them a couple of days ago, they said that there is only 1 purse, like the one I want, in the whole country. And it was on hold for someone else. Sigh...

But who knows, people return things, stock gets found in back corners of stockrooms, miracles happen every day. We'll see.

That is really a gorgeous bag! If I were you, I'd check around and see if you can get it cheaper anywhere else. Maybe you could find it from an online site? If you love it and can afford it, I say get it!
