This the 3rd Chanel item I've ordered and all have been damaged. I'm starting to feel very discouraged. At this price point, this is unnacceptable.

Oh my! That is horrible! You should definitely request them to send you a brand new one that has not been touched! My recommended SA only sends me items that are still in original packaging and never the floor model one.
 
It seems like you need a SA that looks out for you and treats you seriously. Check the recommended SA thread or ask for a referral. Do you have a store near you?
 
that is horrendous and unacceptable, esp paying an arm and leg for these bags!! back it goes!! i agree, maybe find new SA that won't send u crap!!
 
Are you ordering the same style and color every time? Wow, you are correct, at the Chanel price point you should expect almost perfection. I cannot imagine Chanel would want an SA sending something damaged to you, their reputation is at stake.
