So i may sound a little ungreatful here, but it is totally not what I am trying to do.

MY fiance surprised me with an early valentines day gift tonight. He got me the small hamilton in orange. I just purchased the large quilted hamilton, and this purse although fits all my stuff, seems soooo much smaller.

The color isn't the tangerine color, but its simply orange, close to the lugage actually. Does any one have this? or even this color?

What in the world can i wear it with. I also got a wallet, which i do love and a necklace that I will be exchanging, and I dont want to hurt his feelings by returning the purse, so i do want to love it.

What can I do? Is this bag as small as I think...is this color neutral enough?

PLEase PLEase help!!!

I think that orange is a great pop of color that will be perfect for spring. I remember a few years ago, I used to only buy black bags. And then one day I decided out of the blue that I would try an orange bag. It wasn't too bright of an orange, but similar to the color you are describing. Since its basically two shades away from luggage, I think it will be easy to match with most things. The only time I'd be careful is if you are wearing an all black outfit. You don't want to look too Halloweeny. In those cases I'm sure your quilted Hamilton will do the job.

Post some modeling pictures with your favorite outfits. Who knows, maybe you will like it better than you think. I always tend to love the bags that I am unsure of at first. In fact, those tend to be my favorites. Give it a try. =]

I don't think the size is too small. I currently have the N/S tote size and I love it. I did try on the E/W satchel size in the store when I was deciding. I found one on sale and its on its way to me now.

The N/S does sometimes have that feeling of being slightly too large to me. The E/W satchel seems a bit more appropriate when going out. While for me personally, the N/S is more of a everyday bag since I stuff everything and a kitchen sink in there.

But when it comes down to it, you need to really love it. Try it on at home for a few days. Put some things in it. If you still are feeling that its too small, tell him that you want to maybe upgrade to the larger size. I'm sure he would rather you have something that you love than pretend like you love something that you don't.

This is me today...with my purse, i actually received tons on of compliments on it already. Just a little unsure of the size...what do you guys think...I'm 5'10 130 lbs...do u think this looks too tiny??

Definitely doesn't look too small. I got the N/S tote and its probably going to be giant on me as i'm only 5'2...but I tend toward that smaller size bags usually...love that one on you :)

Yes it definetly does fit all my stuff. Not as much as my ns tote...but that way it keeps me in check of trying not to fit everything and the kitchen sink.

This is another reason I like th E/W. I tend to put WAY too much stuff in my bags. Be careful about putting too much weight in your bags. It actually causes shoulder problems! Many of the forum members here have experienced this. Also, if you have shoulder, back, or neck problems already, a heavy bag will only aggravate the issue.

I actually think it looks great on you too! Both color and size.

Although it might be outside of your comfort zone, it still works! Maybe it's the bag but maybe it's also because you can pull it off well.

I think it looks great on you but definitely can feel your pain with regards to size. It is so easy to get used to BIG bags that when you have "average" size bags, they feel teeny tiny!

What a sweet fiance!!
