they have really stepped up their game and I'm really wanting to get my first bag. I love the swagger. Thoughts? What would be a good first bag? I love roomy satchels.

The swagger is a nice bag, but make sure you get the larger sized one. I'm not sure if they still make a variety of sizes or not, but at one time they had 2 or 3 sizes of them. I think a regular size Rogue or even the Rogue 36 would be a roomier bag for you though....of course the prices are higher so I don't know if you want to spend that much.
Go Rogue! It's Coach's IT bag at the moment. You cannot beat the quality for the price! I'd wait on the Swagger because it looks like they're going to be doing a Swagger reboot in the next season or so.
I'd recommend a Rogue, hands down. Amazing bags, very functional, multiple carry options, great quality leathers and hardware. The regular size is a "roomy satchel", IMO.
I also recommend the Rogue. I don't have one myself, but I've seen them in-stores and they are beautiful bags. Plus that glove-tanned leather is to die for. Super soft, buttery, and will look beautiful once completely broken in. Also love the different compartments and the handy long strap, as well. I definitely recommend them!
