I have this in a gold tone.........

Yeah its lovely and all but I do not for a second think it is real.......

If I can make a recommendation its to hold off for a bit to save for something really special... It will mean more in the end.....

A nice costume choice, honestly. But if you want something truly special, hold off for a bit and then treat yourself!!!!!!

I say 'go for it!'. A tennis bracelet is a classic piece of jewelry, but there's no reason to spend a lot of money on it. I had my 5 carat tennis bracelet taken apart and made in to a 'diamonds by the yard' type necklace. I find that no matter how nice a piece is, in time I tire of it. If you can get the same look for a lot less, then why not?

I wear my bracelet all the time. The only times I have not worn it since December 2007 when I first got it, have been when I was hospitalized for surgery. I put it back on my wrist as soon as I came home. lol

What about if it is really blingy, like 15 carats blingy. I have one that is YG and 15 carats F-VVS2. So it gets a lot of attention. For some reason I feel weird wearing it unless I am all dressed up. Is that weird?

^Yes, fifteen carats would get you attention. It sounds like a beautiful bracelet. I could see that day to day you would want something a bit smaller. Mine is almost 2 carats and I find that a good size (I have a small wrist).
I bought mine in a pawn shop for $225, appraised at $2000 last month; there are a lot of tennis bracelets in pawn shops, especially yellow gold, swarovski is nice but I'd go to a pawnshop and check if there is anything there you'd like if you'd rather have diamonds.

My bracelet wasn't priced much more than the CZ set in 14k gold that they sell on QVC. in the current economy there are deals out there!

They had one 3 carats for $250, same quality, my friend and the saleslady were telling me to go bigger, but I didn't like the way the bigger one looked on my wrist, for daily wear. For the evening, I would go big--I'm not in your league, I would go five or seven carats total weight, but for the day not more than the two carat.
