"The key to rhinoplasty is the skin (well, cartilage too). Classify skin in the upper half and lower half of the nose. Think very thin, thin, medium, thick and very thick skin. You can’t change this, you have to accept it. Very thin skin means every little bump will be felt and sometimes seen, so take time to smooth all the irregularities. Sculpt! Very thick skin in the nasal tip means you should never perform a rhinoplasty. No matter what you do to the cartilage, the tip will be bigger after surgery, not smaller! Try explaining that to the patient after surgery!"

I have thick skin and especially thick around the nasal tip. What does this mean? That I can't get a nose job or that it'll come out looking bigger??? The tip of my nose is thick and fleshy and just disgusting - but it can be reshaped and thinned out right? Right?! I'm fine if I don't change the overall shape/design but it HAS to be thinned out and made less fleshy - and more defined

Anyone with fleshy bulbous nose that has successfully come out with a dainty nose and is happy with the results??
