GF, GF (says wongnumber shaking head sadly),I did tell you that if you were gonna go the fake route, you should have bought the triple A grade fakes that China specialises in. Instead you bought a cruddy fake from the merchants on Canal Street. :wtf:

Seriously though - ignore the girls who are just dumb asses who think they're smart asses. You're thinking nasty thoughts maybe, but at least YOU have the smarts to keep those thoughts to yourself. :yes: (Er, at least I hope you do...)

I'm sorry to hear that the insulted your baby, BUT... you could be happy that they thought it was fake.
It is less likely to get stolen if people think it is a fake. That's good, right? You know its real. Who cares about them?


I saw a woman with a black 35cm gold HW black birkin the other day. She kept moving from one hand to the other, practically waving it around to attract attention to it. (I was behind her on the way to the H boutique LOL). I thought to myself, beautiful bag, lady, but you are sure trying to let everyone know what you've got....

They can think what they like, ignore them but they should have kept their comments to themselves.

What I can't get over is the rudeness, hostility and sheer nerve of making thier comments deliberately overheard - it's making my heart beat really fast just thinking about that scenario and the stress it would give me, the conflict between trying to appear calm and in control and the desire to throttle them, lol

It would upset me for days. Keep your chin up, the quiet satisfaction of knowing your bag is the real thing will carry you through.

Please try not to give another thought to those unpleasant people.

That's a good way of putting it, allaboutnice. I too would feel conflicted about whether to throttle them or feel sorry for them. It has occurred to me that most people will think a birkin is fake, 'cos if you don't know better you assume they're impossible to get unless you're a celebrity or something.
I feel terrible for you though, GF. :sad: Not that what they said was personal (could have been any of us!) but because those girls are like school bullies. They make themselves feel good by deprecating others in a loud voice just to cause hurt. I can't tolerate anyone being treated that way, no matter what freakin' handbag they carry - even a fake! Perhaps when i come up your way we can go to the same street & hope to see them so I can :noggin: .

*sigh* GF, I thought this was discussed before... Don't buy from that shop that has orange boxes, they don't sell the real deal. Go to Vic Market and get a roo scrotum pouch, they're much more in fashion.
