There are no dedicated thread for these totes, and being this big and being east-west rather than north-south like their smaller cousins, it is a whole different beast...!
I just received my XL (not XXL) Puzzle Fold Tote and I can not be happier!
Originally I thought I was ordering the XXL, since I did not know there is an XL. The one I have seen in person and tried on was the XXL, but on many sites this one is often referred to as XL adding to the confusion.
If you see 45 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm (D x W x H) that is definitely the XXL.
Recently there is one XXL being listed for sale at Vestiaire and a short discussion ensued about whether it was an XL or an XXL, before it was finally concluded that it was the XXL.
Depending on the model's height, the XXL can look like an XL on a taller stature. While an XL can look like an XXL on a smaller build.
When the "wings" are tucked in, the bag can also look smaller.
Floppier leather material creates a sort of organic look to the bag, which shape you can not fully see. With stiffer material this effect might be reduced.
I am not that tall at only 164 cm or about 5'4''.
The XXL I was prepared to buy was borderline wearing me and not incredibly practical when trying to reach for stuff in it. I was told at the time that there was nothing smaller, and I was so sad about that.
Then I bought this XL thinking it was the size of the XXL which I had tried carrying a few months ago. Back then the XL was not out yet I think?
If you are about my height and have a chance to go and see the bag for yourself, I can highly recommend trying to carry the XL and see for yourself.
It is much more manageable, more functional.
The leather is so floppy, and buttery. Solid, but soft.
Everything I love about Loewe. So far. (I am praying LVMH will continue to leave Loewe relatively alone).
I would love to see more XL and XXL Puzzle Fold Tote worn and carried. If you have one, or some, could you share a pic?

instead I got a flamenco in size L that comes in the most soft leather. Enjoy your bag!
