Personally, I love Vintage Chanel, I have a 0 series Mini flap, and a 2 series M/L classic flap. I think it's really fun to hunt down vintage finds and most of them have a very distinct and classic look to them :heart: Anyone else a vintage lover or thinking about going vintage?

One of the random things I did want to comment on was the question of vintage pricing. In the years that I've been into Chanel, prices on vintage pieces have gone up with the price hikes on current retail items. Even in as little as one year, prices can be totally different, and of course it all depends on the bag in question and the condition too. With that being said, I think vintage offers a lot of savings, but with the recent price increases, "steals" aren't as common anymore in my experience. I think that would be my number one piece of advice for anyone new to vintage shopping and wondering what a "good price" is

Hi. I recently purchased a Vintage Chanel Bowler bag that I know very little about other than I was drawn to the shape and size for my usage. Reminds me of the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30. Can anyone pls help me with info- how long did the bag series run? The metal hardware appears to have some plating could it be gold? My Sunday got considerably better as i just received my first Chanel, a beautiful medium black lambskin Diana from this responsive reseller who specialises in Chanel Diana bags: mygrandfathersthings. I had been eyeing this design since last year and decided to take the plunge to buy this classic baby that's almost 30 years old. This is great quality! I've got a Diana too but the condition isn't as good as yours.

Hello! I am very new to this blog and am still trying to navigate how to post. I also very recently purchased a vintage Chanel Diana bag & am so pleased. This is my very first Chanel piece. Is your strap 19"? I was wondering if I'd be able to wear mine crossbody. I'm 5'4" but have a long torso so I imagine it'll be above my hip.
