If you contact Leather Surgeons, www.leathersurgeons.com and email them do not use the “contact us” form they will respond within a day or so with a quote. Both bags would probably benefit from a spa, ph balance and reconditioning. Gerry told me if you want these bags to last another thirty years should have them to the spa yearly with regular use. HTH! They’re both gorgeous pieces.I got this Chanel bag yeaaaars ago for a very very cheap price. It was in my closet for years but I rediscovered it, but its in very bad shape. I got something to fix the leather condition, will clean the inside but the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that the bag got very flat. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix the shape of this bag? I'm sorry for the overexposed picture btw..

I believe you are supposed to ask the Authenticators. I know a lot about vintage Chanel bags and the only thing that looks weird to me is the stitch count in the last photo.
Just bought second Chanel piece. Unlike my first one, this one was preloved and vintage. It’s a vintage vanity case from 1997-1999. It definitely needs some TLC but I’m looking forward to repairing it and making it my own. First up is trying to get the boxy shape back. I stuffed it and it’s currently sitting in my closet. Then I need to buy a strap since it did not come with the original strap. Found a great shop on Etsy that make the chain straps for a good price. Reminds me of my Gucci Soho Disco.Hi everyone,

I've been on the hunt for a vintage backpack and came across this one. The seller doesn't have the authentication card and I assume the hologram is long gone. Would anyone know what year this backpack is from?

I would ask the seller to see if they can send you a picture of the tag. Just because they don't have the authenticity card doesn't mean the hologram is gone. Doing a quick Google search I found this one on Fashionphile. I think it's the same style you're looking at. The date code for the Fashionphile one is from says it's from 1994-1996.

I've just received more pics from the seller and I'm not sure I'll go through with the purchase. The seller confirmed that the hologram is gone. She also thought it was from the 80's and I was getting a little excited as its my dream to own a vintage Chanel from the year I was born.
