It is quite different now.. I actually live not far from where the tannery that produced leather for (among others) Mulberry was. Remember a school visit there in the early 90s and how I was in total awe when I recognized a heap of congo leather....😍
The bag should have side buckles to bring the sides in but the previous owner removed them,but it still is a beautiful bag and is around 12-15 yrs old I think.
Pretty sure it's an Annie. I nearly bought one in ginger a few years ago in the Net-a-Porter sale - and still kick myself for not doing so! [emoji5]

Posting pictures of a pre-loved vintage bag hoping that someone will know the name of the design.
I've scrolled through a few threads here without finding one.
The inside label states 'made in E.E.C'.
Since the E.E.C. was incorporated into the E.U.in 1993 it was presumably made sometime before 1993.
The U.K. joined the E.E.C in 1973.
The zips are RiRi ones and the one zipped inner pocket is usefully deep.
These old ladies appeal to this old lady member as they often seem inclined towards understatement

I have been told the black one has a style/serial number 075172 but apart from two photos online (and directions to many fake websites!!), I can't find any name. It has tartan lining and the same zip pulls and feet as the Hoxton.

Hi, Foreverbags, I think you may be referring to a Breton? Came in red, black, chestnut.... If you look at thread below, Cornflower Blue has a photo of her lovely red Congo Breton. There are other dome shapes in Congo but it's the nearest one I can think of that corresponds most closely to a Dooney Zip Zip profile. Hope that helps
