The turnkey lock help.

Dear all,

I recently got the preloved Kelly from a friend of mine. I just noticed that the turnkey lock is so easy to turn. I feel like it is loosing by compare with all my other birkins which a lot tighter. I asked her if it originally came like this or because it was used for awhile. It is just 1 year old bag. I know it can be replaced but if it is normal, then I dont have to worry much. I am too afraid it will just break apart or something. [emoji23][emoji23]
Does anyone ever experience this? Please advice. Thank you all in advance.

Just take it to H store near you and ask for a replacement of new hardware. I did just that a couple years ago and costed me less than $300. Is it normal for the hardware to get loose? It could be depends on how you close and carry the Kelly. If you close the Kelly properly with all its straps in their place, it shouldn't be that way. Hope that helps

Have you had it authenticated by a specialist? All I can say that both my B and K the same, one maybe little loose than the other, but never to a point that gives me feeling that it's breaking apart....

Thank you for the comment. Yeah I took her to the store yesterday and my SA told me it happened over time if I don't close it properly.
I think I will send her to LA to replace the turnkey during the winter time when I don't use the bag.
