The STAUD Thread!

The only thread about Staud has “quality” in the name, which may be misleading for anyone considering this brand. So let’s start a proper Staud thread! (Mods, feel free merge under this title)

I’m a new Staud owner of the mini Bisset bucket bag. I had been admiring their designs for the past year and was considering a mini Moon. Love their minimalist aesthetic, and got an amazing deal on a Bisset!

And after a few days of using it I’m super impressed with the quality, especially given the price! In these days when even Chanel buyers are complaining about quality, it’s so nice to be surprised by a new brand. Each stitch is perfectly in place and solid, and the leather looks like nice smooth “box” but won’t scratch at all!

I have a regular size Bisset in black, and I agree, it is a gorgeous bag. I"ve had lots of compliments on this bag. Yours looks fab!

I've also been pleasantly surprised by Staud quality! Here is my Staud plaid Shirley tote. The insert is genuine shearling and lined in real suede. When it came in the mail I was surprised how heavy it was! The stitching is all straight and perfect on mine too.

I just bought the STAUD mini Rey in croc embossed brown ( comes in cream & “French grey” which is griege). It’s a top handle & a crossbody.
I could only find it at SAKS & I’m in Canada so the duty & taxes were outrageous…oh god, I hope it’s as beautiful in real life .
Here are pics from online & I’ll post more when I get it!
Oh, it comes in a medium, shoulder size - no crossbody strap needed.

I’ve never joined a blog like this & at age 54 have decided to start buying things just for ME which includes some better quality bags that I can still wear out and about.

I think this is a great bag! And I like the fact that there are currently some brands that make good quality, modern classic bags, that don’t cost a fortune.
Right now, I’m eyeing (except for the tommy, mentioned above ), a by far Cush bag. You might also want to take a look. It is similar to the BV mini Jodie in shape and size, but less than a half price

I’m loving the pale ‘olive’ Crush, it looks soooo soft I just want to squish it!
The comparable BV colour is ‘kiwi’.

I saw Staud re-released the Grace bag in Crossbody variants I used to have a Grace but it was white patent so it didn't stay pretty for long!

Really liking the orange and lemon themes for this season. Neither color is in my wardrobe color palette but still - incredibly cute.
