Haven't been on the forums much lately, but oh my goodness, Stam re-release, really??!!
Time to get out my two originals (taupe and black, from the very first release). They are heavy, but such great bags. Feeling nostalgic for that early 2000's vibe!

Hello, I just discovered the MJ Stam bag and became obsessed with it. I was on the search for preowned on Poshmark. I did find one that I purchased for a fraction of the original cost. I am questioning whether it authentic or not. It doesn't small like leather and the chain strap is not removable. All of the other "Authentic" tells are there though. Any thoughts?

Based on these pics it appears to be an authentic Baby Stam from Resort 2011. The strap (chain) on the Baby Stam were not detachable. A photo of the inside/lining & heat stamp would confirm

I can make out lettering from a heat stamp but it has faded.

Oh wow! Looks like black canvas lining, right? I’m fairly confident based on the season tag that this is authentic.

Neiman Marcus has reissue Stams - silver hardware, cloth lining instead of suede, love that cherry color though.

Wasn't it though? I do not care for heavy bags. I want to travel lightly.
