The So Kelly

What does everyone think of the So Kelly? I am not sure yet.
You know, it's growing on me. I didn't really pay much attention at first. But recently the ad with that fabulous croc one caught my eye and I've looked at them in-store on a couple of occasions. I haven't pulled the trigger, but I'm feeling like I could at some point. Just need to figure out how & when I'd carry it, so I know what color to get.
Also, just fyi, I've been told that no stores in the US actually ordered the croc version...
The croc one (with the little doggie in it) is brilliant! I have one in indigo, that is a great grab and go bag. Also, very under the radar, which is great in some circumstances. Funny, when my SA called to say they had some in for me to look at, I didn't think I'd buy one, but after trying it on, knew I had to have it. No regrets.
I agree that the ad of the gorgeous croc one made me take notice of the bag. I do think it would be an easy bag to carry without feeling 'exposed'. Maybe in the future?!
Is the strap easy on the shoulder? I normally have problem with the strap slipping off my shoulder as I have narrow shoulders. Anyone have that experience with SO Kelly?
Thank you everyone. I am hesitating between a so-Kelly and a classic Kelly. I was wondering if anyone had a problem with the shape of the so Kelly (vertical)?
The SO Kelly in the ad is matte alligator, not to be confused with croc. If I recall, I posted a picture of local socialite, Pandora Lau w/alligator rouge H So Kelly.
MonsacHermes, the only con of the SO Kelly is its longish shape which some complained about having to 'dig' your hands inside to take out items. To me, the SO Kelly is a grab & go bag because of its open access and easy on the shoulder. Imho, there's no comparison between classic kelly and SO Kelly. They're both different.

I have to see the so Kelly in person. Not sure whether NM or Hermés has one in the DC area. I will check in Paris in November. I like the look of the so Kelly in the Herm

I like the advert (with the dog) as well, but I may go back to a "regular" Kelly. I am sometimes attracted to other bags, and always come back to classics when comes the time to actually buy one.

I have both a SO Kelley and a few Kellys. The two bags are completely different. The SO Kelly is a casual bag, the Kelly more dressy or formal. They really don't seem to have much in common other than the name and some design elements. So it really depends on your lifestyle.

I totally agree with you. I have both and Love them the same way.
The So Kelly you can wear it every day. Excellent hands free bag. Very confartable.

I love my Kellys as well, but they are not so easy to open and close. The Birkins are fabulous, but a bit heavy -- that is why I was wondering about the So Kelly for a more convenient everyday use. The Kelly was also my first Hermès bag, OrangeLover. 32 box black, gold hardware. Still have a soft spot for that one.

I have size 26 in the colour etoupe. It fits with everything.
I use a purse organizer for the bag, so i don't have to dig a lot for my items.
The shoulderstrap is ok and doesn't slide easy from the shoulder.
I think it really depends if you want a everyday bag or a more formal bag.
