For some reason, The Row is hardly mentioned here ... trying to figure that one out ...

I am a recent convert from Bottega Veneta who discovered the Bindle 3 Hobo when looking for something else, and it is a wonderful, lightweight, roomy bag, well-made, that is a 'newer' take on the traditional hobo. I love that it has a structured bottom; I don't love that it has no pockets (but that means I get to use my beloved Stashio organizers). Big city people might find the lack of closure concerning, but the way the bag lays against your body keeps it secure.

The calfskin leather is divine, it's so light, no hardware at all. It is unlined except for the bottom panel. I am so completely sold on it that I have rehomed all of my BV Cervo Hobos (and as @ksuromax can tell you, that's pretty amazing).

I am considering adding another color to my collection: Elephant Gray. I have Caramel, Light Cuir, and Black. I wish I could find it in yellow, but no luck in this model ... yet. Might be next year.

Here's the Elephant Gray (photo from The Row), Fall 2021.

The Bindle 3 is amazing. It has a different vibe than BV but the quality is there and it's just so luxe. My opinion might also be a little bias because I'm always obsessed with The Row and I'm burn out with BV seeing them everywhere. You definitely should go for it.

Thank you, I did go for it - I have to tell you that Elephant is the most beautiful gray I’ve ever seen!

I am very very tempted to add this one.

I'm a big fan of the Bindle 3, even though I only have one (so far).

Earlier this year I swapped my unworn Bindle 2 (not a great design) for a Bindle 3 and IMHO The Row has got form and function right with the Bindle 3. I love it for the no hardware simplicity, wide shoulder strap, the wonderful thick and slouchy leather and flat base, which gives it some stability when placed on a surface.

I bought it just as an easy wear hobo style but I often now use it as a north-south tote because it easily fits my laptop and a decent sized pouch and the shoulder strap is so comfy. Mine is black and I'll buy another colour if I find one that I have to have. The Elephant looks amazing.

The Row does produce some great bags.

I reach for my Row bags about 80% of the time. They are so stylish and wearable. I’ll have to check out the Bindle three.

I hadn't considered how often I use my two TR bags in percentage terms but my Bindle 3 and Mail bag ( ) are way over subscribed relative to the number of bags in my collection. And TR is one of the very few handbag designers I'm still looking at to continue buying. It's an evolving, improving brand - I hope they can keep it up.

On a side note, the RTW pieces I collected from The Row ten or so years ago - eg leather jackets and skirts, wool/cashmere blazers, etc usually on sale - are still relevant and in great shape because the cuts are sharp and simple and the materials top notch. Current prices are eye popping so I don't buy much RTW these days, but I'm a long-time TR fan

I ordered the Bindle Three in black this morning. I'm so excited.
Yay! When you get it and you love it - you might want an organizer, and I found the Natural shaper with flexible fabric bottom by Divide and Conquer on Etsy to work perfectly. If you want specifics you can DM me.

Can't wait for you to smell the sweet smell of the leather that The Row uses. I'm still enjoying it!!!
