I got an email offering a $25 discount for filling out a survey. I started it but it was so long and detailed I bailed. they want to know your age, how many times you bought luxury items, new or used, what you spent annually on them....and much more.
since there's nothing on there I want right now and I don't know how long that credit is good for, I bailed on it
Anyone done this? if so was the credit short term or longer?

Companies used to pay agencies for market research or focus groups. It cost companies a fortune, plus they'd pay hundreds in cash for expenses for 'subject'd' participation.

The $25 dollars is not cash, it's discount. As you say, you have to spend before you redeem, meaning it's actually an enticement to purchase and not cash for a treat for tea. It therefore, actually cost hardly anything for them, it's a few dollars out of their mark-up/profits and the person feels obligated to buy. So firstly they'll make more money from your next purchase, then they'll get paid more if they sell your info on.

The only way to work out if this is worth it is to calculate 1) how much your time is worth (if someone had to pay you per hour/min at work)? And 2) how much is your privacy worth?

Dose anyone here have experience with The real real /problem with their shipping

I made a purchase on 2-25 and as of today (3-4) they still have not shipped the item.

Anyone else having this problem?

Contact them through chat system They told me to wait 48 hours for the internal team to get back to me with an update

They took a while to send an item to me in the past and another huge issue I have is the terrible boxing they do. Many times, the box is too big for the bag and gets crunched during transit, which makes the shipping tape start to pop open. Buying luxury is supposed be a great experience, but it isn't with these guys. I've gotten a couple items that are just gross with hairs, fuzzy kleenex tissue pieces inside, etc. It's like they don't even inspect the bags. Guess that's why they don't allow returns. Many people would be displeased with the state of the bag when they get it. I only buy when I find a bag that I simply haven't been able to locate elsewhere.
