The perfect collection

I am slowly building my collection here and I wondered what everyone thinks is a perfect collection. I have:

Black Togo GHW 40 cm
BBB 40 cm (on its way) PHW
BDP 35 cm Togo PHW
Etoupe 35 cm Togo PHW

I just got a call for the Raisin 35 cm Togo PHW. ( I think I should wait for GHW)

Rouge H, box, GHW 35 cm is the only bag left on my list.

What are everyone's views on a perfect color collection? I chose mine for the below:

I go to work so I carry a lot, I need 2 40s in different leathers to break up the monotony.

BDP--this is a color I loved since I was a little girl. I think is is perfect.
etoupe--perfect for the summer, not too dark not too warm.
Raisin--I don't want a black in 35, wanted to break it up a little and get something neutral and yet interesting.

I don't think there is such a thing as a perfect collection, but you certainly have a lot of yummy bags!

Maybe you can trade your 40cm black togo for another colour as soon as you have your BBB. Is your BBB a PH or GH? Maybe to a 40 raisin GHW?

Rouge H box with GH is my grail. Yummylicious.

for me a perfect collection will be:
1 ostrich 30 birkin in fuschia - pwh
1 croco porosus shiny black kelly 32 -pwh
1 croco porosus matte black or dark brown birkin in 35 or 30 - pwh
1 blue sapphire birkin 35
1 rouge H kelly 32 with GHW
1 etoupe kelly 35 with PHW
1 35 black or indigo birkin with GHW
1 more in cylcamen or rouge vermillion or rouge garrance or orange =) either in birkin or kelly
1 clucth kelly pouchette in black with ghw
1 clutch kelly pouchette in nicolitus shiny black with phw

im dead heuehuehuehue i am not even half way there =)

For me a perfect collection would be (bear in mind, I admire exotics, just dig leather more)

1. Barenia birkin - contrast family
2. Black birkin - workhorse classic family
3. Etoupe birkin - light family
4. Rouge H birkin - or red family
5. Curry birkin - or yellow family

Then I must stop!!!!!!!!!!!! I love and hate H at the same blasted time!!!:bagslap:

It would be nice to have a few kellys and evelyns in there for the hands free option!!

This would be the perfect collection for me too but I would exchange the curry birkin for a chocolate or ebene birkin with GHW and also ad a prune Evelyne and a black matte croc Kelly pochette.

ooooh, this one's hard. As for you, you seem like you have it planned out very well.

For me, a perfect collection...(holding back of course) would be:

32cm Red Croc Kelly
32cm Orange Togo Kelly
32cm Fushia Kelly
32cm Tri-Color Kelly
35cm Beige souple Kelly
35cm Black Chevre Kelly

35cm Poussiere Ostrich Birkin
35cm Black Nilo Birkin
35cm Etoupe Birkin
35cm Indigo Birkin
35cm Cylamen Birkin

Indigo Evelyne PM3
Black Tadelakt Medor

For me the ideal collection would be:
- 1 dark basic (black or graphite... I have graphite)
- 1 lighter all year round basic (etoupe on it's way!)
- 1 splash of colour (still thinking about orange; raisin would also be an option or BDP)

- 1 orange Lindy
- 1 indigo GP

I think a perfect collection always changes depending on the phase in one's life! Right now, I'm really content with the bags I have currently.

If I could add more, I'd like:
- 30cm vert anis, chevre, GH
- 28/32cm HAC natural barenia, GH

But that's for now ... might change again lol!

when i first started my ideal collection was

1 35cm birkin
1 30cm birkin
1 kelly retourne
1 kelly sellier
1 HAC
1 Shoulder birkin

I have pretty much stuck with that, but I decided to branch out and needed light and dark colors in 35 cm. The only one I need to complete my list now is a shoulder birkin and I just ordred that......what a relief

Mine changes as my needs change.
Because I have frequent events high profile events I am heavy on H clutches and hand helds!
Though I love my 30 Birkin and my 32 Kelly for day.
I am not a casual person so I no longer have my SO Kelly or my Evelyne, and I even let go of my Bolide. Even when I am casual I am not so casual.
But in the future needs and my life may change.

I'm really excited about my collection right now! :nuts: I have -

Vintage black box Kelly with gold hw sellier - special occasions or every day
Ebene Picotin PM - casual days
Black evergrain Jige - dinners out/ date nights

In the future I would love to add a casual Kelly like a 32cm in Rouge H or another red - retourne with PHW. Or I'd like to add an Evelyne PM. :tup:

I think every classic H collection needs a rouge and some sort of orange! I also think a good variety of bags is lovely as well, but a personal preference. Essentially, I think a well rounded collection would include:

a daily workhorse in black
a kelly, in any color
a shoulder bag in a nice pop color
a tote bag, as in a REAL tote to carry junk
and a clutch for the times when you need something to fit on your lap.

black, red, orange, a blue, and some sort of neutral beige or etoupe.

I know people that only buy black as well as people who NEVER buy anything black!! I have a friend who ONLY likes the really bright colors too! It's whatever you will ENJOY. Please keep in mind, that does not always mean practical and it also does not mean you will ever use it too!

OMGosh, zoopla - I think raisin is awesome in PHW! I wouldn't pick GHW for raisin. I've seen some in here and I admire them, but for me it would have to be PHW. I like GHW with Gold, some reds and browns, though.
