I’m on bit of a Pashli kick right now (when I’m not adding to my constantly expanding A. Wang collection), and I’ve recently come across an interesting specimen. . . I’ve actually scrolled past a few of these on the various resale sites, but kept passing them by, because at first glance I thought they were just “regular” medium black Pashlis.

But check this out:

It’s a completely different model, much less structured (and a bit smaller) than a standard medium, but larger than a mini. It looks kind of like an old leather motorcycle jacket, and even has a detachable wallet than snaps on over the regular attached pouch. It also has snaps on the “wings” so you can control how much they flare out, as well as studded feet.

Does anyone have more info on this? One of the sellers referred to it as a “prototype,” but I’ve seen enough of them that I think it must’ve been widely available at some point?

Either way, I’m really digging the look. I think it’s the perfect size for hand carry, and I love that it’s slouchier while still being a structured shape.

Here’s a mod pic with zippers down, wings snapped. I can compare it to the other sizes if anyone is interested.
