It arrived today, and is so welcome...like an old friend.
This bag IS the original Montaigne. It uses the same pattern, and with the exception of 3 features listed below, is exactly the same.
This one
1. Has no mirror
2. Has a larger phone pocket
3. Has no feet on the bottom (the original original had 5 metal feet)
I have no idea what BV is calling it, but I will call it the "New Old Montaigne."
Here it is, new for SS2013, er, I mean old, no...returned
FYI: The metal accents are wired in, and the inside is lined in a med-dark brown suede. That's Bob in the one picture
