Nomade leather is stained and comes in different colors. Vachette is completely untreated.

Does Nomade leather stain like vachette?

Because it is already stained, it does not show water marks as drastically as vachette does. Nomade gets darker with age as the leather absorbs oils and oxidizes (similar to vachette - but in my opinion more evenly). It can scratch fairly easily as well. But there is nothing as beautiful as a "beat up" Nomade piece if you are a true leather lover!

Here is my well used Nomads cles. I already bought it pre-loved for a bargain. The inside was clean when I got it, but my keys stained it. Rubbing the dirt away with a rubber worked well.
