Anyhow, I just wanted to say that Chanel movie was great. I felt sorry for coco and how she lost her life love.

But I am happy to join TPF

i love audrey tautou and i also was really sad when she lost boy...but she did go on to have many other lovers. she had a pretty sad life...she's amazing!

Welcome to tPF Foi. I love the movie too, and I also like to recommend the book Coco Chanel by Axel Madsen. It's an interesting biography, have learned so much about Chanel & her life.

I loved the movie! I saw it when it first came out at the Paris theater here in NY... it was so moving and very well acted.

I watched BOTH "Coco Chanel" and "Coco avant Chanel" and i found the first to be the better film, they portrayed her more true to life, a strong and determined woman that let nothing get in the way of her dreams, the latter just left a sour taste in my mouth as it portrayed her to be weak and vunerable, of which she was not....
