Ohhhh yeah, I did hear that the GM has been discontinued. That was my worry- that I was wasting time waiting for a bag that was discontinued so I’m glad to hear that you were told it’s a permanent item. And my SA has only said it’s sold out right now. It’s just so disappointing that they’re taking so long to restock it!!

Does anyone know if the monogram canvas Montaigne GM from 2015 was part of the recall from a few years ago? I received a call about the monogram metis hobo from that time period but am considering buying the monogram Montaigne GM from 2015 but cannot find a recall list anywhere..Thanks

Yes it would be on the recall list. The glazing was defective. Just be careful buying preloved as I've heard about a few people not getting any credit note for the bag not in their name even if you have the original owners receipt. They re glazed my Emp speedy back in 2016 but not sure if they would now.

3 days until Christmas, and still no Montaigne available anywhere in the US.
Frustrating… I am really hoping it is true that its a permanent item and it is not discounted at this points…

I was able to find a Montaigne BB Monogram in Louisiana. After almost 4 months looking for it. I used a LV international website (Qatar), where it still gives the option to see which store have the item available. After that, I asked “FoxyLV” on Instagram for a Sales Associate in New Orleans Store.
Finally, I got my babe. First I was Looking for the MM, but then I realized the BB is very similar in size to Speedy 25 which is my favorite size. I notice the “feet” has some wear, a little silver already, it was definitely a return. But, it doesn’t bother me as it would happen eventually.

Here’s my Montaigne MM purchased between 2015-2016. I like using it with a shoulder strap (handle tucked inside) than handheld. It’s so handy, the strap is perfect length for me. I’m 5’2” only.

I have been worried LV is planning on replacing the Montaigne MM with the Grand Palais. IMO, the Grand Palais is a cheaper version of the Montaigne (no feet, no microfiber lining). After months of searching with no availability, an MM finally popped up online. Should get it tomorrow!

WOW! I'm amazed that it was actually available online! I've been stalking the LV site for months hoping it would become available. I just managed to get my hands on one that came into my local LV store! I was really worried for awhile that maybe they were phasing it out and would eventually be told that it's discontinued. How are you liking yours??

Help Montaigne GM club. I just purchased a Preloved Montaigne GM from eBay with the authenticity guarantee. It came through okay, but the metal feet on the bottom that have the “Louis Vuitton” have different thickness of fonts on each foot. Pro Authenticators claim this is normal and authentic. Is it?! Help!
I’ve never seen this before…
