what's there to research? that part of Canada is small enough, it's not like it's a majorly huge area of extreme high international importance. not knocking Quebec, but it's simply not.
so, they created a super dark navy for their Vernis line, why not call it Blue Nuit? there's a british softcore series called Electric Blue, didn't stop Balenciaga from releasing bags in that blue.

Bleu nuit means Night blue, so for a dark blue is a good french name.
