Hello! I’ve been wanting a small green bag for a while and tried on the rosemary mini flamenco bag this weekend and fell in love. I love the way the leather feels and the versatility of the bag with the different straps! I am now debating whether I want the flamenco or the Bottega Veneta mini jodie in travertine (also a light green). I’ve always liked the look of the mini jodie and been wanting it for a while but now I’m conflicted between that and the flamenco. I know this is the Loewe page, but does anyone have both bags and have any opinions on which one they like more?

The mini Jodie is a hand held top handle bag whereas you can wear the mini flamenco in so many ways. With the original strap, you can use it crossbody or shoulder carry. Loewe also has tons of pretty short straps that can turn your flamenco into a top handle bag. If you remove the strap completely, you can use it as a chic clutch.

the capacity of the mini flamenco beats any other bag it’s size…it’s super spacious, can hold essentials and then some. I have the flamenco in both the mini and the small, and I can say the durability of the leather is top notch plus it’s smooshy and thick.

For me, these were why I chose the flamenco over and over again when I was thinking these two bags previously. HTH.

I totally agree with the answer from viewwing!! The mini Jodie for me isn't practical at all, it's not easy to go in and out and it's only handheld, and I think it will be outdated soon.
For me the mini Flamenco is a perfect small bag, very spacious and practical and really nice.

I prefer the aesthetic of the mini jodie over the mini flamenco. I was interested in the mini flamenco but when I saw it irl it looked kind of ‘meh’ in the mini size. The medium or regular size looks more luxurious imo. I also love the mini puzzle with the top handle and crossbody strap.

I have both and if I only had to choose one it would be the mini flamenco. The mini Jodie is cute but absolutely a disaster when it comes to function. Strictly a looks only bag for when I don’t need to get anything in and out of it multiple times. I have a mini flamenco and love it so much a regular size is also on the way. And the rosemary is a fabulous color!

Do you think you’d prefer the mini or regular size if you could only have one?

How much do you usually carry? I have the mini and was surprised what I could get in it - my special flat water bottle, kindle, coin cardholder and small essentials like keys and meds. Compared with the “cards and lipstick” type people on the forum I carry quite a lot of essentials so I would never have expected anything in the mini bag trend to fit my needs.m, but this does. If that sounds similar to what you carry, the mini will be fine.

Personally, I often want the above plus umbrella and scarf, or a real book instead of a kindle, so if I hadn’t been after a specific limited edition bag that only came in mini, I’d have got the next size up.

I don’t think I’ll use this as an everyday bag since I already have other bags for that purpose. I would use the Flamenco more for a pop of color bag since all my other bags are neutral.

Could anyone help me with some feedback on this? I’m looking at buying a preloved mini flamenco and the owner has been wearing it with the strap tied on each side to make it shorter as per the below pic.
Do you think the strap will be damaged / really permanently kinked if I want to undo the knots?? (I’m taller!)
Thanks in advance! 89B77852-1397-457C-8A0B-96BD6CBD5BF3.jpeg

It’s a pretty lightweight bag with the capacity to carry just enough so my guess would be no permanent kinks. Iwould imagine that you could straighten out the kinks by placing heavy objects(books) on top of it. I would just ask the owner to undo the strap and take pics of it so you have a better idea.

I braid the strap because I find it way too long for crossbody (and I’m 5’9”). It does stay kinked when I untie it but with gravity and weight it straightens out again. You can also iron over it with a warm towel to flatten it out quicker.
