The Iceland Vocano and H shipments

I was supposed to be in Paris this week for work and, of course, a visit to my favorite H stores. Since the trip is looking more and more unlikely, I thought I would visit my local H store today to see if there is anything new...and that is when I realized that the air travel ban means that there are no new shipments to H stores right now...especially to those outside of Europe. Of course, then my imagination went a bit wild...what happens if the volcano continues to spew for months...no shipments or very delayed shipments...nothing to update in the "what have you seen where" section...nothing but resaler stock. Just thought I would share my panic with others who would understand as my DH seems less than sympathetic.

I'm sure that H will find a way around it. Ships, trains, trucks... Don't worry! (Nice trivia btw: last time this volcano went off it lasted 1 year, roughly 200y ago!!)

Think from a positive light, FSH should have GREAT stock now, since their customers cannot fly in! Gee, I wish I could reach Paris by any means other than Now I start to worry about my Paris sale trip!

I wouldn't lose too much heart as Little H said, H always find a way. Currently Southern France is still open, so I'm sure they could always send their shipments from there! Us poor Ukers have all our airspace completely shut down with holidaymakers stranded abroad trying to get back. I hope there is good news for them soon, my heart goes out to all those trying to get home who can't!
