I've decided that though I'm way late in hunting for a sweet punk sid in black, that's not gonna stop me... I've searched ebay, and it doesn't look like any have ended recently. Nor are any listed right now. Are there any real other options (besides ebay)? Has anyone had any luck finding one after they've kind of disappeared? Any encouraging words? Help a girl out...

i shant tell you how long i waited for a sweet punk. it's the ultimate test of patience.....if you decide to go on this journey....many challenges shall you encounter along the way....many auctions you shall be outbid on before reaching the holy grail....it's a tiresome and perilous journey and only for those strong of heart and bidding finger...

Oh, I'm a survivor, a sniper, an ebay pro. I will accept this challenge and all of its frustrations. How long did it take to get one? Come on- give me a ballpark... (I need to get mentally prepared.)

well, they came out in 2006. i finally got one this year after hunting for three years, being out-BINed on one and outbid on a few more...it's a seriously daunting task

A three year hunt?! Whoa. I've never had to wait that long for anything. I bet it made victory so much sweeter though. Congrats! So, I'm guessing they don't show up very often... Drats.

It's interesting, but the very first MJ employee sale I was offered to participate in had the sweet punk line. I was so naive about MJ's, that I purchased s Blake. If only I knew what I know now...

yep, the sweet punk bags were made in limited quantities im almost certain. they were resort bags, and i think only sold at boutiques. the canvas totes were boutique exclusives for sure only available at the NY and LA stores...a ton of indie-sorta celebs were spotted with the SP bags....courtney love, selma blaire, cameron diaz, fergie.....and damn are they hard to find now.

the sids have popped up in the largest quantities i have ever seen this particular year.
i believe there were 3-4 bisque ones (im pretty sure our PF ladies scored 2 out them, another which a TFS member nabbed, and im not sure on the last one.) also, a violet fluo sid was up on ebay last month as well and scooped up almost immediately. the first sid of the year was one in black and it sold for close to retail if i remember rightly. there was quite the bid war over that one...

also, this year there was a orange fluo sweet punk hobo that passed through a few hands and has finally found a PF home....

and there was 3 siouxies, 2 in almond and one in black, which i own.

before that, between 2006-2009 i had seen like 1-2 black debbie hobos, and the same # of ones in the ivory. and once again, lucky PFer gals have those in their collections for the most part....

^^Ditto !!! I'm still kicking myself to this day. I actually 'ordered' a sweet punk bag but for the life of me cannot remember which one now ....then a few hours after the order went thru I had buyers remorse and called to cancel the order!! Can I have been more of an IDIOT !
