The "How to wear" thread

I thought I would start a new thread where we can post items that we're not sure how to style. I realize I'm constantly asking questions and it clutters up the board, so it would be nice to have a place where can post our "how to wear" questions

Since I started, I will post the first question! I just bought a short sleeved version of this white lace top. I was thinking about wearing it with a pair of black shorts, do you think that would be ok? Other options would be a flowy skirt. I'm thinking of the black shorts option for a night out in Vegas.

love that top! black shorts would be fun, so would a high wasted pencil skirt or fitted black dress. you could also pair it with jeans for daytime.

Great thread idea! Black shorts will definitely work well.

For a more casual look it would look nice with denim too
