Thank you Jag. Here are two 90 cm silk twill scarves with hermes double tour bracelet as halter necklace - This look is comprised of 4 knots: tie the two scarves by a diagonal corner to the double tour; then tie each together around your waist front and back. This provides full coverage including back coverage. (New Springs; CenC)

Take two 90s; fold them in half into triangles; wide base facing each other on front. Tie two top ends into a knot (this goes behind the nape of your neck); subsequent knots at the bra line down. Twilly tribord rings can be substituted for knots for a different look. This also looks good as a vest over a white button down shirt for people who want more coverage. CenC and New Springs.

Mon Petit Cheval Mexcain (90x90cm silk carre) worn as toga top. A tube top may worn underneath or a cardigan over for modesty.

1. Hold the scarf correct side up, knot the top two corners (with print facing out);
2. Slip scarf over the head, with the knot sitting on one shoulder and the other side of scarf under the arm - forming the toga style.
3. Make another knot at the side.
4. Re-tie the knot at the shoulder if need be to adjust the sitting of the scarf.

Will get the step-by-step pics over the weekend.

This is best worn on days without wind. Or with leggings.

traditional way - as per scarf reference book
Fold scarf in half in a triangle, wide base tips to be tied around your waist; top corner points to be secured around your neck. For different looks, you can twist the top corners before tying (madras a zakynthos);

The jerseys are wonderful as halter tops as the material has great draping effect. Shown here are Caleche Elastique and Brides de Gala.

1. Hold the scarf up with print facing out;
2. Tie the top two corners behind neck;
3. Make another knot at the lower back.

As toga top. Same steps as the toga style using silk carre. Which shoulder the knot sits depend on the print to be shown.

If the double tour is too tight around the neck or you want a lower neckline, use some bolduc ribbon or a twilly or a fabric or choker. . . Fold a 90 or a 70 cm in half; tie the two top tips/ends together and slip the ribbon inside. Tie ribbon around neck; wide base tips/ends in back.

Tied loosely around waist over a white shirt:

tied even more loosely around hips:

Tied more tightly around waist for a sleeker look:

And here is a 70 vintage (note I am 5'2", long waisted and medium build - size 6-8 US)

This allows for more frontal coverage. Since the back is bare, I always put a light cardigan over the back. BAsically take the mors and slide a scarf end through the large ring; wind the scarf around your neck and attach the little bitty end to the double rings. The first step will look like this (but with less material on the double ring end: DSC01768.jpg

The majority of the scarf will be in front of your torso. Take the two wide ends and tie around your waist in the back:

I like this look in a jersey because you get more material. However, the jersey is a bit more "naked" in feel, so I layer with a light cardigan for use outside the closet.

The jersey can be very pretty in a top with the standard 90 twill instructions: fold in half in a triangle and tie at nape and waist:

Or in Ms. Piggy's shoulder top:

Or strapless (which requires a slight degree of exhibitionism, risktaking, or a cardigan lol

Here's another way to tie the halter style with the use of twilly - this helps make the scarf wear longer.

1. Fold the scarf into a triangle with the desired print facing up;
2. Make a knot at the top of the triangle;
3. Loop the twilly through and knot behind the neck;
4. Make another knot behind.
