The first time you went into an Hermes store?

Back in 1993, my DH took me to Paris and the Loire for my 30th birthday. We were shopping in Paris and decided to stop in at FSH. The SA's couldn't have been more lovely and I came home with a scarf (Pierres d'Orient et d'Occident in black/orange colorway). It was a lovely first H experience!
About five years ago on a trip to Las Vegas. Went to the Bellagio for gelato and saw the prettiest store called Hermes and wanted to check it out (I was already a fan of the Kelly). Got my first piece of H - an enamel bracelet.

It was 2001 and I was living in Hawaii at the time .. I was searching for a cute pair of sandals and happened to see a pair I liked in the Hermes window. The SA couldn't have been nicer. She really took the time to show me around the store and get me aquainted with their products. I walked out with the sandals and have been with the same wonderful SA even though she's since switched stores. It was a wonderful retail experience and I've been a loyal Hermes lover even since.
My subsequent visits are getting better and better.
My first time is last dec 2006 when my DH wanted to buy me a birthday present. I went in there to scout around and to pre-choose what I want. (not wanting him to pass out there).
