It was a relaxing day today and I wasn't planning on getting anything when walking around window shopping. I was very curious when the lovely SA said she would show me something special. When I saw the Desert Storm Epi Go-14 PM, runway bag, I knew it needed to go with me. My hubby said it looked strange, but beautiful. The paint merged so well into the leather, it has the smooth surface. What a unique piece.

What an extremely odd name for the bag! Where was the research department when Marketing thought it up? Didn't LV realize that "Desert Storm" has a firm historical association now with the Gulf War? (Google agrees: Punch in Desert Storm and see the hits.) The imagery is clearly the American Southwest (see the saguaro cacti), but now the bag is weirdly tied in with the unpleasant overtones of war. Fail on name, cool bag.
