Hey everyone we all know every few years a different quilted bag becomes the IT bag within instagram bloggers and Youtubers.
first was the Chanel, then came the Marmont and now I’m feeling the new one could be the Dior Caro Quilted bag Though has strong competition with the Votega Venetta padded Casette.

I like better the Caro but im seeing more the padded casette on YouTube.
im not planning to buy any of them just a fun thread for which bag would you bet your money to be the new IT bag.

Based on the obvious "influencer" marketing campaign with the Caro, I'm sure that Dior would like for it to be the next It bag. It's unclear to me how many people carry it who aren't paid to. Personally I do not like the logo hardware at all, and would never consider it.

I also think the padded cassette is a bit played out, but has achieved "It" status. The padded cassette is still setting the trend for many other brands right now, especially the chain version, so I doubt we'll see it or its progeny disappearing anytime soon. I think the regular cassette is a good purchase for now because it's on trend but isn't as specific as the padded one (which I predict will look dated in a few year).

If I were to consider any of these style of bags, I'd chose the non-padded, non-chain BV cassette. But that's just me - wear what you love regardless of trends!

yes, while I’ve said quilted bags are always a classic, I feel like the padded Casette will fall out of fashion quite soon.
from Botega Venetta I think their classic will be the kind of slouchy clutch.

however my favorite of the new bags right now is the Dior Caro, I’m really into it more than the lady Dior or the Saddle.

the trends thing was for me just a guessing game But yeah I agree with bags w shouldn’t go that much for trends, to try trends the safest way is getting them fast fashion. And go with Either designer or contemporary with more classic styles.
id say take risks with Zara and similar and go safe from contemporary to high end brands.
I consider contemporary to go safe because for many people contemporary it’s their luxury.
