I got mine from a 2nd hand brandshop in Japan few yrs ago and just notice recently that there is a miss stich on mine!!!
Now wondering if mine is fake
do you mind to check your "Made In" tag and Serial Number tag if it is the same font style as mine? I also realize my Made In tag, is not rounded at the corner . Posting my bag pics below.I always thought mine is auth coz it is forbidden to sell fakes in Japan. I tried to post on authentication TPF, but they won't allow me coz no link to any online selling website.
So now trying my luck to ask you.

Congrats! Conte de Fées was one of the most interesting collections of the early MJ era.

There are knockoffs of every line. You just need to be careful. Nothing is safe from replication.
Ancient thread, but I ordered a Conte de Fees musette off Fashionphile and it got here yesterday… it is BRAND NEW. No one ever even put the strap on it, not a single sizing crease, nor did they remove the plastic off the magnet clasp. Blown away by how lovely this bag is in person. Can’t believe someone held onto it for 19 years and never used it! Happy to join the fan club.
