Ugh. Got them today, and man, they're pretty rough. I think they'll be heading back to the seller, but I'll take them to my cobbler and see if they can perform a miracle. Whomp-whomp....

My cobbler advised me to run away. Fast.
One of the heels had clearly been snapped off & reattached, so there's a tear all the way across the sole. And both heels needed recovering. AND they've been stretched out to a full size over what I needed. I'll post some pics, but the longer I look at them the sadder they make me!
They could be send to MM7 and resoled (in six months for $200), my local guy could recover the heels and touch up the uppers (another $100)... Most of the issues could be fixed, but the stretching is the dealbreaker.

That looks awful! How can anyone sell that without disclosing the condition it is in? I think I'd be too traumatized to try to save them.

I just picked these up for a steal and I actually feel bad. I thought the strassing was aftermarket so I lowballed the seller a bit.
