Hi ladies,
Just want to seek your opinion on this bag. I've been in love with it for 100000 years and no matter what I do, I can't get it out of my head. My partner told me I'd never get to wear it as much, so it's not worth £2230. So I resisted it and thought he's right.
But I'm flying out of the UK from Heathrow in May and therefore can get some tax off it. I think 16-17% if I'm right? That'd be nearly £400 saving. So what do you think? Should I go for it? Is it worth it? I'm thinking if I get this, I'll just wear all black so it stands out, and maybe red lipstick to match.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts, ladies

I have loved that bag since I first saw it. If you can't get it out of your head and you can afford it, go for it. I think you should wear it with more than black though! You could even wear that with a white tee and light denim.
I think the bag and accessories are stunning. If you love it buy it, life is short.

If you are that obsessed, you'll regret it if you don't get it. That duty-free store has really sweet people, too, who will try to get it for you if you call them with the Gucci item number

I hate to be a nitpick, but I really dislike that the detail looks to be in gold thread, while the chain is a dark looking metal color. I would prefer the light gold chain on it. I know it's supposed to match the horseshoe detail on front, but to me I can't seem to accept that mismatch.

I think when you love something for 100000 years you go for it ;)

WOW! It's beautiful! And I love the smooth leather finish and detailing. One of the nicest Dionysus bags I've seen! Get it before it's gone!

I think 100000 years is long enough, go for it.

BTW, I think it should be 20% less out from heathrow.

It's stunning. If you love it, why not? Don't settle. But what you love.

Thank you everyone for your inputs. With your support I think I've made up my mind now to get it  The only problem now is whether I'd buy it from the airport or suck it up and buy it full price. I called today asking if I can leave the bag with them and pick it up when I come back. I really don't want to bring it on a long trip with me. Apparently I can't do that because I'm flying out of the EU so I have to 'export' the goods with me as well. £400 is a lot though, but at the same time, bring it with me to Asia is a risk. Not to mention I know damn well the customs in the country I'm flying it is extremely corrupted. They will find every way to question my purchase just so I will give them some money to make them go away. :annoyed: So I'll have to think about that. What would you do if you were me?

Thank you for your response. Before you mentioning it, I barely noticed that detail! You have some sharp eyes for details :P I'm just too blind for the beautiful red smooth leather and the flower details on it is to die. So I think I might 'forgive' the dark chain. I havent seen it upclose in real life though. Dont know how dark it'll be.

No prize no guessing, it's my Chinese New Year Dionysus. I've been in love with it since the day I saw it online on Gucci's website in December. At first I thought I'd get it at Heathrow when I fly out this May. But then I realised that I can't leave the bag at Heathrow and pick it up later when I come back. Also, Heathrow doesn't have this beauty in stock so they'd have to transfer one out from one of the stores in London. I was worried that the bag they transfer out won't be prefect so when I saw it at Harrods today, I bought it home with me.

I have to say, it's THE MOST beautiful bag I've seen in my life. The smooth leather is beautiful and the flowers motif is to die. So without further delay, here is she :heart::heart:
Thank you for letting me share ladies and gents!
