The best everyday LV bag

I purchased a montsouris backpack but it had some quality issues; currently being exchanged. But I’ve opened up my search to a few other bags… here’s what I’m looking for:

1) an everyday bag but also good for traveling
2) great resale value (incase I need to resell it in the future)
3) I want it in the turtledove empriente leather because it’s a little more unique, chic, but still under the radar.
4) I own a Celine nano luggage in black so I’m looking to add something different.

I voted Speedy B 25 because that’s the bag I have among your options. It can hold a lot and versatile carrying options (crossbody, side sling, hand carry). Not much issues with the bag, other than the hardware (zippers and D-ring) slightly tarnished after about 5 years of using, but that’s applicable to almost all bags after 5 years. No problems with canvas or leather trims too. I seem to have read many issues with PM, flap, cracking canvas, glazing, etc.

But an honest issue for Speedy B 25 is the opening is not as big as many people would like (including me) but there’s no problem with slipping one hand or two in and out to get your things. To be fair, you are looking at Empreinte version which has the zipper tails at the sides instead of the top only so you have bigger access! So not a problem for you.
Speedy is always in demand right?

I voted for the Speedy B because I feel like they are super versatile and pretty much go on any occasion.

I'm looking for a nice every day bag as well and really want the Pochette Metis in mono but I'm so nervous about some of the issues that I've read about. It does make my heart sing though.

I voted for speedy b because I have it and like to use it when I need more space. When I travel, I usually pack a smaller bag in a backpack or tote.

That's why you should get the empreinte version! Sure makes my heart sing!

I don’t have either bag in empriente but have the Speedyb 25 in mono and Pochette Métis in reverse and by far prefer the Pochette Métis. It is my most used bag and I am using it now as a matter of fact! I like the size, organization, back pocket for my phone, large flap opening and easy access, top grab handle. I find the speedy fits more but is more difficult to use, hard to find my items inside, not as comfortable to carry either crossbody or on the shoulder which are my preferred ways to use bags. Without hesitation I would get the PM!!!

That's the thing though, I like the noir empreinte version but I think I'd LOVE the mono... They kind of have totally different feels for me, with mono being the more casual feel that I want for an every day bag. But I can see how the empreinte leather would be the wiser choice. It's just not what my heart wants if that makes sense.

Does the reverse go with everything? I LOVE the look of the reverse but I wonder if I’d get tired of it?? I normally gravitate towards leather - a little more under the radar I guess?

I voted Speedy B25, it’s holds everything… the usual plus water bottle gloves scarf. The opening is not for everyone, but you can get things out using one or both hands. The PM is a lovely bag but the strap I find a nightmare!

Does the reverse go with everything? I LOVE the look of the reverse but I wonder if I’d get tired of it?? I normally gravitate towards leather - a little more under the radar I guess?

I don’t have a problem with the Reverse coordinating with my outfits but I am a very bland dresser and wear mostly darker neutral tones.

I voted for the Speedy 25, even though I use a Speedy 40, I still prefer the design and style of the Speedy for everyday use. I think it's comfortable and easy to grab and go. I especially love that it fits my 10" iPad. I love it!
