The Best Black Tote

Hi everybody,
The one thing I do not really have in my collection is a decent black bag.
I have two black nylon bags. One is Kate Spade and the other is an older Prada. The Prada is very small and a handheld. These do not get much use. I stick mainly with L.V.
but I do have a Burberry, some vintage Coach. I seem to reach for my totes most often and the handhelds get left behind. I don't care for the black Neverfull in Epi. It is too boxy looking to me and I don't think it would have that classic Neverfull sag.
I've explored other brands. I've considered a pre-loved black Chanel tote. I've considered the Speedy. I'm fickle and know that unless I make an investment in this bag it will be in and then out in a year or two. What do you think?
Do you have some suggestions? Weigh in about your favorite black totes.

Love the Chanel GST although it can get heavy. Celine makes a nice lightweight tote. Pre loves is a great way to go!!

Under 1,500. I'll use it as an every day purse. The Neverfull M.M. is the bag that I grab the most.

Maybe this one from Givenchy? If I remember correctly they have it in a variety of different leathers.

It's a wonderful tote, lightweight and the leather is lovely.
The price was great too- just under $900

I seem to reach out for either for my Dolce and Gabbana Sicily Tote (in medium) or Alexander Mcqueen Mini Padlock Tote (croc embossed).

I don't baby them and use both a lot for when I am running errands all day etc., and they are holding well. I am not sure in dollars, but the DG one was around £900 and the AM one was around £800-something.

Not cheap but still cheaper than high end designers' with equal quality!
