The beauty of MAX MARA coats...(photos please)

This isn’t the best photo but it’s a Max Mara sleeveless coat. Its great for the climate where I live, as winter is very brief and fairly mild. I chose navy as it’s a great neutral for all the grays I wear.....
The SA chose it for me to try (I would never have considered it on my own) and the minute I put it on, I knew it was going home with me. I had actually gone in to try on a dress I saw in the window....there’s nothing like an insightful SA....

So true- some of my best purchases were recommended by SA’s. There are some excellent ones in london worth cultivating relationships with.

How much cheaper are coats in Europe? I have one coat I adore. Am thinking about adding a 100% cashmere coat to my collection. Wasn’t interested in the teddy bear coat until I saw all the pics! Do you think it would be too large? I’m 160cm, 46 kg.

I got an icon 101801 coat in Paris.

In the US, the coat retails for $3890. In Paris, my memory (without digging out the receipt) is that it was about $2400, and then I got a VAT refund of 10%+.

I am sure you can google the issue and find the price of the teddy coat in Europe vs US.

My contribution. Wearing a black S' by MaxMara coat. It has no lining and is lightweight. Beautiful fabric. It is my first MaxMara coat and there will be more.

My Max Mara Weekend wool coat in a nut brown. It's a medium weight wool which is perfect for most fall days and I can wear it in winter if I have a fairly bulky sweater on (it's about a size bigger than I'd usually get for that reason). On really cold days I wear my Bogner puffer coat. Shown full length and close up with a scarf I bought at Barcelona airport.
