Omg @protein_ I totally misread your post. I thought that you were referring to a Betsey Johnson Rock n Roll bag, now I realize you meant your Blue Jean First :roflmfao::roflmfao::roflmfao::lol::lol::lol:

I still have one, cannot part with it :lol:
Bag charm from the Kate Moss x Topshop ZARA (omg, it was 2007 again in my mind for a second) collection used to make the strap on my Rock n’ Roll BJ First a little longer…

A cautionary tale...I accidentally clicked on a paid subscription on Italist, thinking it was on of those "15% off for subscribing to our website" kind of thing that so many sites do. I then received an email saying I had been charged $300 USD for a yearly subscription.

I immediately contacted Italist and explained what I had done in error and that I'd like to cancel. Nope. The long and the short of it is that they say all of the info was written out and that I subscribed as per their contract.

Now, before I get those people who say "well, you should have read the fine print". Yes, I should have. I screwed up, no question. I'm explaining this simply to tell anyone else that they do have that regular "subscribe here" feature at the very bottom of the page. And that they will show no compassion if you make the mistake I did. $427 CDN for a site I've shopped at maybe once or twice in the last decade. It sucks.

It's ABSURD how many sites are doing Membership Programs for additional % off.

Really sorry that somehow this one pulled the wool over your eyes...

I'm sure this has crossed your mind, but perhaps, you might want to explore a chargeback/dispute? If the fine print was super hidden and you were rushed at checkout, then maybe... 🤞

I didn't even check out, I had nothing in my bag. And to add insult to injury, even with the discount I could have gotten the bag in question for $70 CDN less from C.e.t.t.i.r.e.

I will talk to my bank but I don't hold out much hope.

This definitely seems unethical. Their headquarters are in Los Angeles, USA, so you may be able to file a BBB complaint against them. I've done this in the past and successfully received refunds from companies that were difficult to contact or provided poor customer service. So sorry you had this terrible experience. 😞

I agree with going the charge-back route. This is a situation that calls for it IMO. My CC simply asks to send them evidence that you attempted to reach the entity and request a resolution. I rarely have had to charge back anything, but the few times I've had to, they were very helpful.

I’m so frustrated with eBay. I sold my Balenciaga bag (literally worn twice ). Mind you I bought it off eBay and they authenticated it . They sent me an email saying the outside and inside smells like perfumed and they sent a message to the buyer to see if they still want it. Only thing I did was use leather CPR and it doesn’t have a smell.
So it was actually my Mother who bought your bag.. small world! She says there are no smells of any sort- and she is VERY sensitive to fragrances. I’m so confused why the EBay authentication would have said that. She is very happy 💖

Hi all! Just wanted to know if anyone has seen this fading pattern or the trim pieces at the lower buckles darkening or were two different leathers used? Definitely one side is darker than the other. Thoughts?

This is a 2006 *I think blueberry*

Update on this situation. The buyer almost declined the bag because of this proposed smell that the eBay authentication said there was. She worked in healthcare and was sensitive to smell so I understood. I was totally confused because I knew it didn't have a smell when it left my place. I thought maybe with the heat and leather CPR maybe there was a smell? I explained to her that I did not know what smell they were referring to but would offer a refund if she received and there was. She messaged me today saying she received the bag and there is absolutely no smell and even said its crazy they said that because it could have made someone decline the purchase like she almost did. Thank God for a happy ending but what a roller-coaster....

Maybe since those pieces of leather are thicker they accept they dye differently, and thus fade differently?

I called my bank today and nothing can be done while the charge is pending. Once it’s posted I’ll call back.

I had the same on my Mogano weekender, it looked cool on that huge brown bag and broke the uniform look a bit, I liked it a lot.
