I just turned down a chance to buy one of my holy grail LVs (the black mirage speedy) because I just bought this BV. That is how beautiful and special it is, folks.

i really am looking forward to seeing this fabulous bag. i love the large basket it looks so elegant! definitely will want to see what it holds, if i can be presumptuous about the pix.

Ugh... I checked my bank accounts online this morning as I do every couple days, and saw that my available credit seemed way low. Lower than I expected given that the card had a balance of zero before the BV ($2100) was rung up in Las Vegas.

So I called Visa, and it said there was a pending charge of $4250 on my card. Yes, DOUBLE what the bag + shipping cost. It must have been rung up twice? WTF????!! I am so pissed.

So, now I get to call that boutique again, and demand that they credit my card PRONTO.

Of course it's only 9am there so I get to wait an hour. But seriously. What in the hell.

Has anyone else had this happen with a phone order? What should I do.... ? Should I call Visa or just wait until I talk to the store? It's "Bags Belts And Baubles" inside the Wynn Casino in Vegas. Is it possible this was just a computer error and it will correct itself before the money is actually applied to my account?

ack!!

I mean, I am not that worried, I know Visa will protect me, but this is still LAME.

Jane - I've had that happen to me on a few occasions. The charges weren't as high, but high enough. With the exception of one (a medical charge) all were resolved within the first business day. I would both call Visa to dispute the excess amount and then the store.

So sorry this happened. :wtf: This bag will certainly have a story of it's own.

I called and they said that the second charge should drop off within 24 hours, something to do with calling Visa twice, once to authorize, and once for the address. Anyway since the charge is still "pending" with Visa, I'll just wait til something actually hits my statement and see what it says. Whew.

Anyway, back on topic.... so stoked for this bag and I'll be sure to make a modeling pics thread as soon as it gets here next week.

jane, I was following your posts while vacationing (thank goodness Vlad revived the mobile version!). Hope the second charge gets refunded quickly and you receive your bag with no further adventure. Looking forward to your fabulous pics!! :biggrin:
