I think this colour is gorgeous! It's muted enough to be a neutral but also can bring some colour to your outfit.

I'm thinking of getting a mulberry bag in chalk next but not sure if it would show wear easily or get colour transfer. Would you mind showing your chalk bag please? How long have you had it and do you apply any leather protector?

I have to say I haven’t protected the leather at all, I’ve had this bag for 3-4 years and used it to death. It really needs a clean (it would look slightly better than this) but I haven’t done that as I need to take it into Mulberry to replace the lock anyway - unfortunately the twist lock came off but you can also see the gold has worn off a bit as well.
I’ve used it a lot during the summer as it’s such a useful size, but it will have wound up with things like sun cream on it. There’s some colour transfer but you can’t really see it from far away, but if you wear with light colours and use a protector then yours would probably look a lot better!

Im pretty late to the Alexa party. It wasn’t really on my radar, but I had started seeing the mini Alexa’s around, and thought they were nice, but had no intention of purchasing. Recently I was on holiday and wandered into a Mulberry outlet store. They happened to have two colours out on sale, and after a lot of trying on, photos and decision making, I went back and purchased. It wasn’t my first choice in colour, but the price difference was hard to ignore. It’s only been just over a week of use, but I love her. Yes, it is a bit of a pain to get in and out of, but when I get the smell of the leather when using her, it just makes me love the bag even more. The quality is great and the leather is so thick and it is very roomy. I find it rather easy to find all my things in there too. Mine has the old style handle, and was told this was an ‘outlet colour’.

I have three Alexa’s in the previous version. I enjoy the handle on the earlier version. I need to find a mini in the right, colour, condition and hardware and my Alexa collection will be complete! 🥰

Does anyone have 3 or more Alexas in the same size but in different colors?
I have 2 thus far in the updated heavy grain leathers (Black with black metalware and Chestnut) in the regular size.

I am about to push the ‘order’ button for another one in Mulberry Green.?

I have no green color in my bag collection (yet)

I like the idea of rotating colors depending on season/wardrobe rather than wearing one bag all the time ?

(My family members are rolling their eyes )

**Seriously I love Mulberry (also Proenza Schouler )bags for my new job and I do not feel like I have a ‘bulls eye’ on my back thanks to the lack of conspicuous logos yet this is definitely a luxury bag for those ‘if you know you know’ folks.

I have three Alexa’s. This is my all time favourite Mulberry bag. I have two oversized Alexa’s one in butter and the other in oak. Both have brass hardware. My regular Alexa is in slate blue with silver hardware. I just need a mini in the right combination and I’ll be happy. 😇
