Have you ever seen or own a tennis bracelet with 2 or 3 stations? I saw one today that was about 3.5 tcw. It had 2 statioins that were flowers. Center of flower is a teeny sapphire surrounded by teeny diamonds. I thought pretty. And might look nece next to my Cartier WG Love bangle. Jeweler said he could remove sapphires and replace with diamond pieces (at an additional charge) if I wanted. But I kind of like the sapphires especially since it is my birthstone. Thoughts on this idea?

It sounds like a vintage design, with stations! How exciting! Are the stones square cut eg princess or emerald, or round cut? 
I wouldn't necessarily say that GIA is a necessity for the small stones of a tennis bracelet, as GIA grading can add greatly to the expense. But for that reason it is a good idea to get a feel for the quality of the vendor, and to take a close look at the bracelet itself.
