Tell Me You Love Me - On HBO

This is my guilty pleasure. It's so in your face and the actors are superb. I am curious about the reality behind the sex scenes, too. However, I read that SAG rules prohibit actors from having sex on camera. Guess that means porn stars are not SAG members. Either way, I'm so happy I have a program to watch on HBO. I haven't tuned in consistently since STC went off the air.

Can't wait for the finale Sunday! :nogood:

I really wanted to like this show, but after wasting my time with 6 or 7 episodes I simply can't stand it. It's just whine, whine, whine, annoying people with more annoying people. There isn't a single character that they make me actually want to care about. I feel like every episode this season was exactly the same, nothing seemed to progress at all.

Well, I guess it is about couples who are going to the shrink and when you reach that stage it is usually because you have hit rock bottom so that may explain the depressive aspects of the show.

I get angry with it at times, I have been with the same guy for 18 years and I can't recall having gone through so much bad situations alltogether.

There is no real sex, I know somebody who worked on the show so I am sure about that.

Started watching the premiere episode last night on demand. Nothing else was on so I figurered give it a shot. I ended up falling asleep half way through but will definately give it another shot. Seemed pretty interesting. Of course everyone was attractive and trim even the older couple. From what I saw they were still all lovey dovey too. I'd like to see a realistic view with people married 30 years, pudgy, who never have sex anymore but then that would be boring wouldn't it, lol.

Wow, I'm glad to see that there are others watching this show. I really enjoyed this first season and looking forward to another one. I do think the sexual scenes are a bit much, but I do like the storyline.

Well, I have to admit I've been catching up on season 1, with only one more episode. I've grown to really like it. At first some of the woman were really getting on my nerves! I like the storyline. I think its interesting showing marriage at different ages, 20, 30,40's and over. Some of the problems though it seems they make on their own. I feel a lot better about my marriage after seeing this I have to say, lol
