Tell me if this outfit works...

Hey just need some opinion if this outfit works for tonight. I'm going to the city to see Wicked! with some friends and just wondering if this looks alright to wear? I would wear heels, but we're gonna be shopping around downtown a couple hours before and I don't want to kill my feet.

So should I wear this outfit or not? And go with the gray jacket or black trench? My other alternative is a black peacoat but it might be raining so I don't know! Any opinions would be great!

i'd say the black trench, the grey jacket is a bit to short for the shirt underneath. it makes you appear shorter whereas the black trench accentuates your waist.

Black trench! Hmmmm I don't know if its just the photo but the gray jacket seems one shade lighter then the pants.
