I’m looking to start investing in more high quality and designer clothing pieces! I’m done having kids and I’m excited to start dressing again! I currently obsessing over Prada RTW pieces. I’m attaching pix to show you all what I’m loving.

I’d love to hear your experiences with Prada fit and quality, as well as any other brands you guys think are worth a look.

fits true to size, mostly. Padded pieces/outerwear you can can afford to size down depending on your frame.

Quality imo is around the level of Gucci. I've seen uneven/crooked stitching. I've had two pieces that were missing small (but important) details my SA had to exchange. If you're buying something from boutique, make sure to inspect for damage and flaws. I've seen pieces that had pulls, scratches, popped stitching at multiple stores I visited and with another two pieces my SA had transferred in.

Materials wise. Any piece made of nappa leather, while delicate, is very high quality. Nylon is high quality, goes without saying.

Very very overpriced for what you're getting. They've been increasing prices (even on seasonal items), and it's just not worth it. I'd opt for unique pieces specific to Prada. Anything you see you can find similar at a different brand, like Loro Piana, go there instead.

Horrible repair policy for RTW unlike, lets say Cucinelli. Like it's not said here, but Prada's repair/aftercare across the board is worse than Chanel.

I love Prada RTW. I love how Miuccia reinvents every season.. if you’re into fashion you can always re-style pieces from previous collections in a more modern way based on the latest runway looks.

I agree with previous poster that sizing is similar to Gucci. I also agree that I don’t think i would buy my basics at Prada. I’m more interested in the unique runway pieces.
