Tory Burch TB Robinson Satchel **Reveal**

Hi, ladies!! I know some tPFers were curious about this bag so I took a good bit of pictures of the french red that came in yesterday. I'll say that the first pic is true to color, the others really aren't. It's a true red.

For me, this bag is just too "tall" for it's own good. The proportions are off too me. I think if the handles are going to be as short as they are, the bag itself needed to be about 2 inches shorter. The front just ends up looking like the HUGE flat panel instead of a rounded satchel, if that makes sense. I also think it makes the logo look out of place b/c it's so small on such a large bag.

That said, it's a gorgeous bag and i LOVE the saffiano leather. If I like it even a little bit more than I do, I'd keep it just for the functionality of leather.

I prefer the smaller understated logo. I think it's a very good bag for the price.

Love the red and gold combinatioin. It is so classic and eye-catching at the same time. I think the bag is beautiful, but understand what you mean about the handles. Short handles can make it hard to carry.

Thanks for the reveal! I just received the Penny Loafers from the Facebook sale in this color and am debating on what to wear them with. This "Tory Red" is very nice, like a nice straight bright red. Together with the gold, it's great!

I also have the Robinson Satchel (in black) and even though it's a bit tall, I feel like the porportions of the bag are just right and perfect for me to tote all kinds of stuff to and from work. The handles feel just right to me compared to the longer ones on a MAB (I used to have the RM BBW MAB as well) or the shorter ones on the LV Speedy 30. If I were to ever get a second TB Robinson Satchel, I'd love to get one in a color like this or that nice green from last year/earlier this year

To misspurse, it doesn't quite sag at the the top, but more across the front if you don't have it pack or semi-full. It's actually quite roomy - It even fits an 11" MacBook Air with the case, but I haven't tried zipping it shut while it's in there. I mostly leave my bag open, anyways.

Keep trying the satchel out around the house and it might grow on you - I wasn't quite sure about the style at first, but once I started actually using it, I fell in love. It's a great classic style bag and quite honestly, I've been neglecting most of my other bags of this size/style because it suits me just fine.

I just received mine in cobalt blue and understand about it being too tall.....but when you carry it in your hand, it does look good. I will debate about whether to keep the larger size as well.
