Hello, I have been MIA for awhile. ( I went to MK for a little while but missed Coach so much I am back with my Coach..LOL.) I have a Taxi tote question..I bought the brown signature taxi tote off someone in a group I am in, and they said it was an authentic bag, and it does look like it, but when I got the bag I saw it has no serial number on the creed patch? The creed patch is on the pouch that is inside attached to the bag.
Just wanted to see if anyone has the signature brown taxi tote and can verify this?

I went to Macys and bought a matching double zip wristlet and even that has a number on a small tag inside.

Yes, peek in the zippered pocket and look really well along the seams it's hard to find... the one purse took me forever and i swore it wasn't there.. finally found it.

or do you mean you cannot find a tag at all? i think someone said they maybe discontinued creed #'s altogether ...

Nope :(

So all I have on the bag is the creed patch on the inside attached pouch..but no # on it.
Then a little tag on the inside of the bag Made In China.

I dont see a #number anywhere on this bag.

Here not for this bag exactly but another poster put these pictures up on what the wee fabric # tag looks like honestly it's small and really easy to miss till you know where to look...

My wristlet I bought at Macys to match the bag has this tag with # just like that.

The Taxi tote doesnt. The only thing I am seeing is the little tag saying Made In China.
Then of course creed patch on the inside pouch. (but no # on it)

DO you know where she bought it? you could always do some pictures and try the Authenticate thread if your concerned, again i know someone mentioned they may not even be putting numbers on the purses anymore, but i know nothing more than that.. all of mine do have Creed #'s on tags or older ones on the creed themselves.

Yes, She said the Coach store which is right down the road where she lives. She even offered for me to go there with the bag if I wanted.

Maybe I will post in the authenticate this thread with pics.

Hi ladies :smile1: I have questions but for a different coach product.

Could you please confirm if my below understanding are correct.

Coach Madison Mini North/South Saffiano Leather Tote #29001 has thicker saffiano leather compared to Madison East/West Tote Saffiano Leather #29002 (specifically color black). In such case, #29001 has thicker and stiff leather that can stand on its own, unlike #29002 that has thinner saffiano. It is thinner, light weight and if empty may fold and loose its shape (but not as soft as fabric). By looking at the pictures, it also seems to me that the difference in the thickness of saffiano between the two bags is obviously visible upon first glance of the two bags. Am I right on this? Nevertheless, both are of good quality.

I am also checking at Madison Christie Carryall Satchel Saffiano Leather Purse #29422. I think it has the same thickness of the Coach Madison Mini North/South Saffiano Leather Tote #29001. Please confirm.

Lastly, if I will purchase coach bags in the Coach Factory at Citygate Hong Kong, will it come with a dust bag? or none at all because it is on sale?
