Tax Free Weekend in MA

According to www.Mass.gov, all single, tangible items costing less than $2,500 and purchased for personal use are eligible under the tax-free promotion.
You can google "tax free weekend 2012" for more details on whats eligible.
Pretty much every year there is a tax free weekend. I always get something.

No tax exemption on luxury goods !!!
I'll find out more and ill update you

The sales tax holiday for general merchandise purchased in Maryland is scheduled for August 12-18, 2012
Keep in mind, too, that not all general merchandise items are included in the sales tax holiday. For example, accessories such as jewelry, watches, watchbands, handbags, handkerchiefs, umbrellas, scarves, ties, headbands, and belt buckles are not tax-exempt.

So funny how each is different. Ours (MD) is only for apparel and footwear and specifically say no accessories.....and is only for purchases up to $100. It's more of an incentive for back to school shopping here
