Can any of you ladies help me find a brown tassel?
Just bought a lovely whistle bag from RDC and just know before I get it, Im going to miss the tassels on the zip :cry:...I'm such a tassel freak.
Desperately want to add one to the bag to jazz it up a bit...Not sure where to try to find one?

Keep an eye out on eBay or Bonanza; every once in a while, someone will post tassels available for sale.

Because you are looking for brown, you may find something suitable at a leather handicraft store.

Most of the boutiques have stopped doing that; they require that you provide evidence that you purchased the bag at their specific boutique. Problem was that some boutiques were allowing folks to purchase tassels w/out proving that they purchased the bag, and therefore, those boutiques became inundated with tassel requests .. hence the reason why they stopped.

I do recall that they charged you around $5.00 per tassel!!! Again, you could call around, but I do think Balenciaga has changed their policy ...

I bought some.black tassels.from bal NYC about a year ago. I never purchased a black bag from them before but did.have a history of other bags and therefore.they let me purchase the black. That could just be my SA though.

I recently purchased a 2005 bordeaux city with regular hardware. The bag didn't come with any tassels. I didn't realize the tassels were missing until I got the bag.

I searched Bonanza for 'bordeaux Balenciaga'. I found a listing for a bag that included extra tassels. I asked the seller if she would sell only the extra tassels. Great news; she agreed! And now my city bag is complete!
