Tarnished locks and keys

Thanks for the tips, esp. for the toothpaste one! I live in Italy so I don't know your products! But tell me, is it okay any toothpaste??? Silly question I know, but there are so many on the market, I don't want to use an abrasive one...

Both toothpastes I used had fluoride in. They worked perfectly! I highly recommend it.

I applied a spot of it on some cotton wool and rubbed it on the lock until it was very dry then i rinsed the lock and did the same thing again. Hope this helps

Hi guys,
Is it safe to use Brasso or any polishing cloth on the hardwares of the bag, e.g. buckles, zipper pull, etc.? The gold color has become dull after a while. Any thoughts or tips? Thanks.

p/s I used Brasso on the lock and it worked like magic.

ohh thanks for the heads up!! I have one of those cloths and a brand new, still in the box lock that is terribly tarnished! Cant wait to get ahold of it with the cleaning cloth

Try cleaning them with ketchup! I know it sounds crazy, but it's cheap and it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow ketchup??? I never knew that ketchup is useful other than put it onto the fries...I couldnt find my tiffany cloth that I had so I just used toothpaste omg it works beautifully

Hi. I really need your help. I recently purchased a Bellevue Amarante but its preowned. I looked at it over and over and its seems genuine, but i noticed that in its zipper pull which is gold, the sides where the metal is connected is peeling and shows silver. Is this normal? Are LV gold hardware really gold or they can peel and reveal silver? Thanks!
